Principal’s Message

Hello and welcome to James Logan High School, the home of the Colts!

After 2 years of an uncertain time dealing with the crippling effects of the pandemic, Logan was able to have a successful school year, in person. There were things beyond our control with returning to in-person instruction; however, we ended our year very strong. As one of California’s Distinguished Schools, we were able to fall back on what Logan stands for, which is family. Our staff, students, and parents banded together to ensure that our students had a normal school year.

At Logan, we will continue to provide opportunities for ALL students. From College Connections, multiple AP courses, performing arts, speech and debate, band, choir, and athletics, I believe that we are the one of the best schools in the state that provides a litany of activities for young adults to be involved in at James Logan.

The old saying is that it takes a village to care for our children; therefore, I would like for you to visit our school and see what our Logan Family can offer for your students. We hope that you will become a part of our family where our school will be forever their home.

EXPERIENCE LOGAN PRIDE!

Sincerely,
Ron Polk, Principal
