AP Exam Orders
Online Purchase Only:
- NEW In order to purchase an exam, students need to register through their class’s AP Classroom on collegeboard. Teachers will provide a Join Code. If students are NOT enrolled in an AP class and want to take an exam, they should email: cmalcolm@nhusd.k12.ca.us
- Parents pay for exams via Aeries Parent Portal (link below
- Each full price exam costs $97 (excluding PayPal processing fees). Students eligible for the Free & Reduced Lunch Program are eligible for a fee waiver. Each exam will cost $7.00 with a fee waiver (excluding PayPal processing fees). The Parent Portal system will automatically apply the waiver; no additional paperwork is needed.
- We request that you purchase all AP exams in one order.
- THE LAST DAY TO PURCHASE AP EXAMS IS: October 31, 2022 at 11:30 am
Step #1: Log into Parent Connect. Choose “Accounts” on the left tool bar & click on “Click here to make purchases, payments”.
Step #2: Choose your student from the dropdown menu.
Step #3: Click on the dropdown menu to view the list of available AP exams.
Step #4: Carefully choose the exam that your student intends to take.
Step #5: Add the exam to your shopping cart. Repeat this until all the exams that your student intends to take are in the shopping card. Then click “Proceed to Checkout”.
Step #6: Here you may “Pay with Paypal” or “Pay with Debit or Credit Card”.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Can non-Logan students register to take AP exams at James Logan High School?
Answer: No, we only offer AP testing to students who reside within the boundaries of the New Haven Unified School District.
What if my parent/guardian does not have access to a Parent portal account or lost their password?
Answer: No worries! Contact a JLHS Secretary, and they will be able to assist you.
What if I changed my mind and no longer want to take the exam, can I receive a refund?
Answer: Logan’s refund policy is –
Before November 4th – Full refund
After November 5th – No refunds
How do I take an exam if I am not enrolled in the class but am a Logan student?
Answer: Pay for the exam as outlined above and email cmalcolm@nhusd.k12.ca.us
