Girls Volleyball just completed an amazing regular season and is gearing up for NCS to start Tuesday night.  They finished with an overall record of 33 - 3, in which they posted an undefeated 14 - 0 record in MVAL League Play.  Over the course of that league play they lost only a single set.  Congrats to Coach Guzman, your staff and the girls.  If you have any of the girls in your class, make sure to tell them great job and good luck when NCS starts next week!

  If you signed up for wrestling, you must have your physical turned in to Coach Bagaoisan and completed your online family ID by this Friday. The first day of practice will begin on Monday, November 6 in the wrestling room.

Do you want to earn community service hours while making new friends? Go to the Interact meeting in room 525 this Wednesday during both lunches to learn more about community service events.

 The Harry Potter Club will be meeting tomorrow, Thursday, November 2nd, after school in room 441.

Do you want to help spread joy around campus? Acts of Random Kindness will be meeting this Wednesday in room 121 to make card grams! 

The Do Something Club meets every Wednesday in room 504 and is focused on dealing with social issues. For the upcoming Veterans Day please send photos to show veterans that you know to recognize and appreciate their service! Photos can be medals, them in uniforms, and more! Please include their name and any additional info about their service, like how long they served. Photos can be sent digitally to jlhsdosomething@gmail.com and if you have a physical photo, you can drop them off in room 504 after school on Wednesdays.

The Cross Country team had an outstanding performance at the LA Invitational. Frosh/Soph boys and JV boys were winners. Frosh/Soph Girls 2nd, Alexandria Childs-Smith was a race winner. Jasmine Sena and Jia Yao Yu placed 2nd. 

Attention soccer enthusiasts anyone interested in playing soccer this year at Logan.  Open fields will begin every Tuesday and Thursday after school at 3:30in the North Field.  Please stop by and speak to Coach Ibarra for further details. 

Boys Basketball Official Open Gym has started, 4:30 p.m. in the Al Rod gym.

Attention soccer enthusiasts anyone interested in playing soccer this year at Logan.  Open fields will begin every Tuesday and Thursday after school at 3:30 p.m.in the North Field.  Please stop by and speak to Coach Ibarra for further details. 

Boys Basketball Official Open Gym has started, 4:30 p.m. in the Al Rod gym. 

Girls Basketball Open Gym Every Tuesday & Thursday after school in the Al Rod Gym. If you are interested in trying out for the team come meet the coaches and get the necessary paperwork.                                                              
ACTIVITIES                           
The James Logan High School Band and Color Guard took first place at this weekend's Western Band Association competition at Valley Christian.  With a score of 70.00 and taking all five caption awards: General Effect, High Visual, High Music, High Percussion, and High Auxiliary the James Logan Band and Color Guard brought home the Gold from their first competition of the season. Congratulation to all Band and Guard members and staff!  

Homecoming dance is this Saturday October 21st from 7-10 pm in the pavilion! Be sure to get your tickets at the ticket window every day this week at lunch. Tickets are $7 or $5 with an ASB sticker. Make sure to get your tickets early, prices go up at the door!

Guest passes are available for the homecoming dance in room 68 or at the ticket window during both lunch periods. Guest passes are due to your house principal by Thursday October, 19th.

 The Logan Band will be performing, Wednesday the 25th of October in the Center for the Performing Arts, at 7:00 p.m. It will have Jazz A, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony.
