ACTIVITIES                     

  • Juniors and Seniors interested in participating in Powder puff.  Information and Permission Forms will be available on Monday, 3/22 in room 67. Make sure you READ THEM CAREFULLY!  All forms are due by 3:30 PM on Friday April 15th. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Tickets will be given to participants to sell later this month. Pay attention to announcements for further information.

  • Attention Students! Prom season is coming up and tickets for this year's Junior-Senior Ball will be sold right after Spring Break. The exclusion list is now posted on the Main Office windows facing Colt Court. If you have 60 or more cuts, or have been suspended for fighting, drugs/alcohol possession or paraphernalia, possession of weapons, or harassment/threats, unfortunately you cannot participate. If you feel you are on the list in error, please see your House Principal.

CLUB                                                                                           

  • Thursday, March 24th, the Computer Science Club will host the TopCoder Hackathon winner and COO of Machine Learning Works. He will talk about programming contests and his experience with startups and mobile app development. There is a rumor of free pizza for those that arrive early.  Please join us at 3:30 p.m. in room 475 this Thursday.

  • Good luck to Amandeep Kang and Austin Chan who will be competing at the CIF State Wrestling Meet in Bakersfield.

  • Congratulations to the Girls Wrestling Team for placing 15th at the State Tournament held in Visalia last weekend.  Nguyet Tran placed 3rd and Emily Sandoval placed 8th.  Great job girls!

  • Are you looking for some community service hours?   Come to Garden Club meeting on Tuesdays during either lunch in room 201.  You can also check in with Ms. Cross any time before or after school to learn more about what the club does.

  • If you are interested in visiting Peru, the Land of the Incas, see Mr. Valencia in 209 or Ms. Miljas in 409. Information meeting is Thursday Feb. 25 at 7 pm.                                                                               

MISCELLANEOUS

  • Remember to bring your testing ticket and current ID when taking the SAT or ACT tests.  Current ID can be a Driver's License, State ID, Passport or School ID.  School ID must be the actual ID (not a photocopy), and it must be for the current school year.     

  • Yearbooks are on sale for $85, $75 with ASB.

  • Congratulations to the Girls Wrestling Team for winning the NCS title four straight years!   Five girls are going to the CIF State Meet on Feb 26-27 in Visalia California, Julie Tran, An Vo, Nguyet Tran, Lena Sam and Emily Sandoval.
