The Do Something Club is calling all students! By now most of us have heard or seen on the news the school shooting in Parkland, Florida and what happened in Las Vegas. While most of us are still teenagers, we have witnessed and lived through countless of these tragedies. We do not want this to continue while innocent lives are lost because of loopholes in our system. Want change? Now’s your chance: Come to Colt court during your lunch period March 12- March 16 to write a letter to your California representatives and senators calling for better gun regulations and law reforms. Did you know that all James Logan High students who are eligible for free or reduced meals are also eligible for a free bus pass that gives you unlimited rides on both AC Transit and Union City Transit? All you need to do is fill out and return a registration/consent form. See Mrs. Martin in the Logan Family Center for forms. This pass is a free Clipper card that lets you ride any AC Transit and Union City Transit bus at any time, as many times as you want! Do you think you’ve already registered this year, or perhaps you don’t remember? Have you lost your transit pass and need a new one? e Mrs. Martin and she can check to see if you’re already registered and give you instructions on how to replace your transit pass.

Logan Students on Thursday March 22, 2018 we will be having our annual JOB-Opportunity and Career/Community Service EXPO 2018 in Colt Court during both of our lunch periods. We will prospective Employers, Non-Profit Organizations, Community Colleges and Military on site to talk to you about the many opportunities and options out there for you. Please make sure to bring your resume and cover letters, if you have them, and be ready to share them with prospective employers and organizations. This EXPO is FREE to you!
The Ohlone Placement test workshop will be held on Wednesday March 21st in rooms 41 and 43 at 1:00 p.m. Make sure to sign up using the link on the college and career center website. You must bring a Chromebook or laptop to the test to complete your testing. The test takes 2-2.5 hours to complete so please make sure you are available for the full amount duration of the workshop.
