Our football team continues a 58-year tradition and takes on Washington HS of Fremont. For those that don't know, in 1959 James Logan High School was carved out of a chunk of Washington's school district. To commemorate that event and so that the two student bodies and cities didn't forget, a trophy was established named after the Principal of Washington at the time, Pop Gould. Having missed only a couple years over the nearly 6 decades the series stands at Washington 27, Logan 25 and 3 ties. JV Kicks off at 4:30 and Varsity at 7:00. Please share this info with your students and encourage them to come to the game if you have the time; and at the very least, when you see a Football Jersey in the halls, wish the player good luck.
