If you signed up for wrestling, you must have your physical turned in to Coach Bagaoisan and completed your online family ID by this Friday. The first day of practice will begin on Monday, November 6 in the wrestling room.
JLHS Girls Volleyball continued its NCS run with a 3 - 0 defeat of Castro Valley on Saturday night. They will host #3 California this Wednesday night 7:00 p.m. at Logan in the semifinals of the tournament. Come out and cheer our girls on!

The marching band had another successful weekend. They competed at a show at Independence High School on Saturday evening and won 1st place while winning all five caption awards: High Music, High Visual, High General Effect, High Percussion, and High Auxiliary. The kids have been working very hard to make this show come to life and are doing a great job. If you have any band students in your classes, please congratulate them for a successful weekend
There are two weeks left of the marching band season. If you want to see the show, we are hosting a competition at Logan this coming weekend. The show starts at 1:50 p.m. And will go until 9:30 p.m. Band boosters will be selling tickets at the main stadium entrance. There will be 28 bands here competing all day. The James Logan band will be the last band going on at 9:15 PM. I hope to see some of you there!

It’s not too late to join Pre-Med Club! Come to the next meeting Thursday, after school, in Room 203. There will be snacks provided.
The Do Something Club meets every Wednesday in room 504 and is focused on dealing with social issues. For the upcoming Veterans Day please send photos to show veterans that you know to recognize and appreciate their service! Photos can be medals, them in uniforms, and more! Please include their name and any additional info about their service, like how long they served. Photos can be sent digitally to email@example.com and if you have a physical photo, you can drop them off in room 504 after school on Wednesdays.
When taking the SAT or ACT please remember to bring your ticket and ID. ID can be your current school ID, driver's license, or passport. You must actually have the ID on you, not a picture on your phone.
Yearbooks are for sale for $75 with ASB and $80 without. Room 223 on Monday and Wednesday during 4th period lunch or every Friday at the student window during lunch. Prices will go up in December so please purchase soon.
New Haven Adult School is offering Driver Education classes over the breaks:

The ASVAB test will take place Tuesday November 14th in the Al Rod Gym. It is offered to grades 10, 11 & 12. If you are interested, please go the College & Career website to sign up. After signing up go see Mr. Guzman in the CCC to pick up a permission slip that must be turned in by November 9th. Those that fail to turn in a permission slip will not be able to take the test.
If you have turned in your bus pass registration forms on or before October 20th, please come to the Logan Family Center located in Colt Court with your student ID to pick up your Clipper Card during your lunch period.
