 If you're interested in joining the wrestling team, contact Coach Bagaoisan in the PE office for sign up and information.
If you've sign up already-conditioning is on Tuesdays and Fridays in the weight room from 3:30 to 4:00 pm.
Remember to schedule your physical and complete your registration on family ID. 

Attention soccer enthusiasts anyone interested in playing soccer this year at Logan.  Open fields will begin every Tuesday and Thursday after school at 3:30 p.m.in the North Field.  Please stop by and speak to Coach Ibarra for further details. 

Boys Basketball Official Open Gym has started, 4:30 p.m. in the Al Rod gym. 

Girls Basketball Open Gym Every Tuesday & Thursday after school in the Al Rod Gym. If you are interested in trying out for the team come meet the coaches and get the necessary paperwork.                                                              
The James Logan High School Band and Color Guard took first place at this weekend's Western Band Association competition at Valley Christian.  With a score of 70.00 and taking all five caption awards: General Effect, High Visual, High Music, High Percussion, and High Auxiliary the James Logan Band and Color Guard brought home the Gold from their first competition of the season. Congratulation to all Band and Guard members and staff!  

Homecoming dance is this Saturday October 21st from 7-10 pm in the pavilion! Be sure to get your tickets at the ticket window every day this week at lunch. Tickets are $7 or $5 with an ASB sticker. Make sure to get your tickets early, prices go up at the door!

Guest passes are available for the homecoming dance in room 68 or at the ticket window during both lunch periods. Guest passes are due to your house principal by Thursday October, 19th.

 The Logan Band will be performing, Wednesday the 25th of October in the Center for the Performing Arts, at 7:00 p.m. It will have Jazz A, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony. 

Would you like a Chick-Fil-A sandwich for lunch? The Youth Alive Club will be selling Chick-Fil-A for $5 with a water Tuesday in Colt Court.                                                                                    
CLASS (Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, Freshmen)      
Seniors! If you have not taken your Senior portraits, please call Prestige to schedule your appointment. All portraits must be taken before Winter Break in order to be included in this year's yearbook. Please come to Room 223 if you have any questions. 

Seniors we will be holding ON THE SPOT ADMISSION to Cal State East Bay November 2nd at the CCC. If you would like to meet with an admissions rep and see if you qualify please see Mr. Guzman in the college and career center to sign up for an appointment. 

Seniors! The Cash for College workshop is on Wednesday October 25th from 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 pm. You and your parents are encouraged and welcome to come and get assistance with the financial aid process for college.

 To all Juniors and Freshman who purchased a PSAT ticket you need to meet Ms. Hull Monday, Oct. 23rd after school (3:30 p.m.) in room 41 to pre- id your answer sheets for the PSAT. 

PSAT will be given to all 10th graders on Oct. 25th, 1st through 4th period. Those students who bought tickets will test in the Old Band room and need to report there at 7:45am.

Freshmen! Come to the Al Rod gym during your lunch on October 24th to connect with your Link Leaders! Gift Card raffle and prizes for those who attend!

The Harry Potter Club is meeting today during lunch in room 441

The Youth Alive Bible Study meets at lunch in Room 418.  

The Logan Gay Straight Alliance will meet again this Friday after school in Room 207. As always, you don't need to be LGBTQ to attend. You just need to enjoy having fun with other wonderful people. This week we'd discuss our trip to San Francisco.


If you have turned in your bus pass registration forms on the first day of school August 30, 2017 through September 20, 2017, please come to the Logan Family Center located in Colt Court with your student ID to pick up your Clipper Card during your lunch period. 

Students, if you are interested in community service hours consider the Cash for College Workshop on October 25th as an opportunity. We are looking for students to help before and during the event. For more information and to sign up please see Mr. Guzman in the CCC. Check out the college and career center website for more opportunities.

Voting for class court will begin on Monday October 16th!

ACT fee waivers have arrived. See Ms. Hull in House 2 to get a waiver. 

When taking the SAT or ACT please remember to bring your ticket and ID. ID can be your current school ID, driver's license, or passport. You must actually have the ID on you, not a picture on your phone. 

Yearbooks are for sale for $75 with ASB and $80 without. Room 223 on Monday and Wednesday during 4th period lunch or every Friday at the student window during lunch. Prices will go up in December so please purchase soon.

New Haven Adult School is offering Driver Education classes over the breaks:
November 20, 21, & 22 and January 2, 3 & 4. Cost is $125. Registration forms are located in your House Office. For more information please call (510) 489-2185.
