  • Boys volleyball tryouts will be Feb. 6 at 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Al Rod Gym, and Feb. 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Al Rod Gym.         

CLASS (Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, Freshmen)     

  • SENIORS: If you or your family wants to buy a dedication space, the last day to purchase is today. Please visit ybpay.lifetouch.com to purchase or stop by room 223 for a flyer of prices.  

  • Students, if you are holding on to your completed community service forms, please turn them into the box in the Career Center during lunch.                                                                                         


  • Come join Filipino Youth Association.  Every Tuesday after school in Room 414.                                                                                 


  • Students needing waivers for the SAT or ACT need to see Ms. Hull in House 2.

  • Remember to bring your testing ticket and current ID when taking the SAT or ACT tests.  Current ID can be a Driver's License, State ID, Passport or School ID.  School ID must be the actual ID (not a photocopy), and it must be the current school year.

  • SAT AND ACT PREP RESOURCES: Need SAT or ACT Prep resources?  Go to James Logan.Org.to join a James Logan SAT or ACT Prep class.  Click the link at the top of the home page or go to student resources for more information.  You will need your student Gmail account to join a Prep class.  Joining is free, sign up now. 

  •  Students the hallways in the Main Building are closed during lunch.  This includes the 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and 70s classrooms.  If you need to go across from Colt Court to the 200s or 300s or the other way around, please use the hallway by the library or go around the main building.  The hallways are closed so that classes that are being held in the Main Building are not disturbed during lunch.

  • Join us for the Education Summit 2017 for First Generation Students and their Families. Completely Free, Saturday, February 4th, 2017; program runs from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., check-in begins at 9:00 a.m.

  • Where: Cal State East Bay - Hayward Hills Campus in the University Gymnasium, 25800 Carlos Bee Blvd, Hayward, CA 94542. Highlights: Educational and college-related workshops for students of all ages. College and Resource Fair showcasing Northern CSU campuses, community colleges, and area. Also, Cash for College will be there to help Seniors with their FAFSA/Dream ACT.  Register @ www.csueastbay.edu/educationsummit

  • CASH 4 COLLEGE This Thursday, February 2nd between 5:30 and 7:30, please come to Logan's computer labs and media center with your Chrome book for assistance from financial aid experts completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Dream Application.  Bring the student and parent social security numbers or alien registration number and your most recent 2015 federal tax forms (1040, W2) and bank statements for you to use as you complete the application
