  • Are you interested in Cross Country?  See Coach Webb after school by the discus ring.  Get in shape “Running teaches us to live well!”

  • Freshman girls and boys if you want to play on the Tennis Team sign up today after school on the Tennis Courts.  Enjoy a sport for life.


  • The Ballet Folklorico will celebrate 28 years and if you like to learn Mexican/Latin Folklorico Dances.  Come to our Orientation meeting Wednesday 8/31/16 at 2:00 P.M. in the Dance Studio located in the Pavilion.

  • Buy your ASB stickers now in RM. 67. $25 gets you a free shirt, discounts at all home games and dances, discounts on yearbooks, and much more. Come by RM. 67 at lunch and after school.

CLASS (Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, Freshmen)   

  •   Freshmen interested in running for class office. Come to rm. 67 to talk with Mr. Glaze and pick  up your election packets.

  •    Seniors! If you or your family would like to purchase and design a dedication page in the yearbook, please come to room 223 after school for more details. Prices range from $65-$200 for dedication pages.

  • Attention Off-Campus ROP Students. Tomorrow is the first day of Fremont MVROP classes. If you are taking a morning class be sure you get yourself there by 7:25am and if your an afternoon student classes start at 1:00 pm. You may want to ride the ROP bus in which case you'll meet up everyday at 12:15pm in front of the flagpole.To ride the bus you will need your class schedule and Logan ID. If you have questions concerning ROP classes speak to Mrs. Hart in the Career Center or you school counselor.


  • Attention all gardeners or wanna-be gardeners...The Garden Club is seeking out new members who are up for a challenge.  This year we will be building a greenhouse, taking field trips and beautifying the campus.  Come by room 201 Tuesday, August 30 after school to find out more.  Bring a friend!

  • Our first Inter-Club Council Meetings will be WEDNESDAY September 7th. This meeting is for all who wish to Renew their club or Start a New Club for the school year. ALL clubs and groups who wish to have a booth at the Club Recruitment Fair, and be active on campus during the year, must attend one of these meetings. The meeting will be in room 67 after school.  Please spread the word.

  • I will also be sending out the Club Application and Constitution Forms later next week. Please fill them out completely and be as specific as possible. Only Advisors should be submitting these forms. Any questions feel free to email Mr. Glaze.                                                                                     


  •    Remember to bring your testing ticket and current ID when taking the SAT or ACT tests.    Current ID can be a Driver's License, State ID, Passport or School ID.  School ID must be the  actual ID (not a photocopy), and it must be for the current school year.

  •   Colleges from across the country are once again coming to Logan. Students interested in attending such presentations must sign up in advance in the Career Center. To see whose coming and when visit the James Logan website clicking on the Counselor Corner followed by the Career Center link. Then scroll to the College Visits section. Or you could read your emails!

  • JOB ALERT!  SUMMER WORK PERMITS are only good until September 20, 20162016 – 2017 SCHOOL YEAR WORK PERMITS APPLICATIONS are now available in the Career Center in the Colt Necessities Store area, in each House Office 1, 2, 3 and on the James Logan Website. Once completed, return the Work Permit Application with a signed copy of your Social Security Card to Mr. Richberg in room #63 during 4th period lunch only for processing.

  • Yearbook early bird special! Yearbooks are on sale for $90 without ASB sticker and $80 with an ASB sticker after school in room 223. HURRY because prices will go up after September 30!

  • Do you anticipate needing help with your math class this year? The Logan Math Mentoring Program is now accepting applications to request a math mentor. To learn more about the program and apply for a mentor, go to the Academics page of the Logan website and select Math Mentoring. If you still have questions, see Mr. Prucha in room 305.
