Announcement 5/13/16

  •    We had a great meet this weekend at MVAL championships at Newark Memorial.  Here are some highlights. Our varsity girls 200 medley relay team of Supriya Sharma, Jannae Torres, Sheris Mendiola and Antoinette Loya took first place in this event.  Sophomore, Jannae went on to take first place in the 100-yard breaststroke. Sophomore, Lawrence Lee took first place in the 100-yard butterfly, setting a new school record.  After this, he turned right around and took first place in the 100-yard freestyle.  Our team captain, Antoinette Loya, who was voted Logan's 2016 female athlete of the year along with Alexandra Newsom took first place in the 50-yard freestyle.  Her time of 23.67 seconds is the fastest not just in Logan's history but in all of MVAL's history!  Antoinette automatically qualifies to compete at the NCS meet this coming weekend in Concord and will attempt to make the state championship meet May 20 and 21st.  Please congratulate these champions if you see them.  We can all be proud that they are Logan Colts!

  • Hey Seniors!  As we near the end of the school year and gear up for graduation, please make sure to request your graduation tickets.  Please check your email - Mr. Brar emailed you on Monday night.  Or visit the school website -  It is important that every graduating senior fill out the graduation ticket form and request only the number of tickets they need.  Because of fire code and directives from Union City Police and Fire departments, we are required to limit the attendance at graduation to the maximum capacity.  We will do our best to give additional tickets to families who need more.

  •  All seniors must request tickets using the form Mr. Brar emailed them. Students may request up to two additional tickets, which will be given out based on availability.  In order to give the correct number of tickets to each student, fill out the form that Mr. Brar emailed. PLEASE COMPLETE BY MONDAY, MAY 16. If you DO NOT need all five tickets, please indicate that on the form so that we may give additional tickets to students who need more.  If you need more than five tickets, please know that we will allocate any additional tickets based on how many are not claimed.  Please indicate how many more you need.  At this time you are only able to ask for up to 2 more tickets. We will stream the graduation ceremony live on YouTube, and broadcast it in the Pavilion – all family members not able to participate in the stadium are welcome to watch the ceremony live in the Pavilion (no tickets needed for entrance in the Pavilion).
